What is the London LGBTQ+ Centre
As a proud lesbian, I know the importance of a safe space. The London LGBTQ+ Centre is an organisation dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals in London. I love this space! It is bright, light and right in the city centre (not just hidden away). They provide a safe space for our community to come together and access a variety of resources and services, such as peer support groups, counselling, and social events.
Breathing @ the London LGBTQ+ Centre

Community activities are a great way to connect with others and build a strong bond. This bond helps one feel supported and encouraged, making it easier to focus on their mental and physical health. In an LGBTQ+ community setting, one can find people who share similar interests, experiences, and goals, which can be very motivating.

When breathing sessions are incorporated into community activities, the benefits can be amplified. A group setting forms a supportive and non-judgmental environment, where participants can share their experiences and motivate each other to continue the practice. The communal experience helps participants build a sense of belonging, trust, and understanding. It also helps in improving social skills, especially for those who might feel socially anxious.

I was honoured to provide two wonderful sessions for my community. Stay in contact to be the first to know for similar events.
